 STORY OF PAINTING

The original, “Look Closely”, is done with acrylic on barn wood. I had two dreams in one night. One was of the profile of the white, blue eyed, lion. The second was of a key, a heart and fire all suspended in mid-air. When I woke, I knew they were paintings. I was going up to paint for worship and I asked the Lord, which one do I paint? I heard yes! My reply was yes, what? Holy Spirit then brought a scripture to mind. Numbers 24:9 “The nation is like a mighty lion; when it is sleeping, no one dares wake it. Whoever blesses Israel will be blessed, and whoever curses Israel will be cursed." I knew then it was one painting. The key is to, “Look Closely” and let Holy Spirit speak to your heart through this painting. This painting has spoken to many people in different ways. Some have found items in the painting that I did not know were there so, Look Closely!
